Terms of Service

Please read each section and submit your signature to verify that you understand the terms:

Payment
We accept credit card payments only. No checks, cash, or other payment options are available. Payment is due the day of service and your card on file will be charged once your cleaning is completed. Without this information, we will not be able to provide services. All prior balances must be cleared before the next service. *Tips: Please let the office know in advance if you would like a credit card tip added to your invoice for your cleaning technicians. Cash tips are also accepted.

First Time Clients
We require a credit card saved to your account, and a signed agreement to hold your cleaning appointment. Please check the box “Save this card for future use” when making your deposit. Your card on file will be charged once your cleaning is completed. All credit card information, deposits, and a signed agreement must be turned in 72 hours prior to your first cleaning or we will not be able to complete the service.

Late Payments
There will be a 1.5% interest charge per month on late invoices, invoices not paid in full for 3 months will be sent to collections.

Cleaning Fee Increases
Cleaning Maid Beautiful reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the time it is taking to perform our service to meet the client’s standards. We will monitor the actual cleaning time for the first two months and occasionally thereafter. We will contact you to discuss possible price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs drastically from the original bid.

Satisfaction Guarantee
If for some reason something does not meet your approval, please inform our office within 24 hours, and we will make arrangements to have the problems corrected within 24 hours, but not during the evening hours or on the Monday following a Friday cleaning, at no additional charge. Cleaning Maid Beautiful will only guarantee work that was completed and paid for in full by the client. The guarantee provided herein shall be void if the customer attempts to reclean the area themselves or hires a third party for recleaning purposes. No refunds or discounts are given.

Access Requirement
Client will provide access to the Property, and to all areas of the Property scheduled to be cleaned at the scheduled arrival window (this window includes up to one hour before or after the scheduled arrival time). If you are not able to meet the cleaning specialist(s) to let them in, please let us know how they will get in your home: Using a key, Garage Code, Etc. Specialists will wait no longer than 15 minutes from their arrival for access to your property before it is considered a cancelled appointment. *Please note: If the specialist(s) are locked out of your home, our cancellation policy will take effect and you will be charged your full cleaning rate. *IMPORTANT: The specialist(s) may arrive up to one hour before or after your scheduled time.

Security/Entry
Our policy is to lock the door while we are cleaning and to not allow access to unknown people. For safety reasons, please do not rely on our teams to let in workmen during the time we are in your home.

Cancellation Policy
There is a cancellation fee of half your cleaning rate if you cancel in less than 48 hours of your scheduled cleaning. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled clean, you will be charged your full cleaning rate. This policy is in place because we have held your appointment time and it was not available to other clients and possibly preventing our specialists from working.

Parking
If there is no free public parking within 1 block radius of your home, our customers are responsible for providing our cleaning associates with any one of the following (which must be within a 1 block radius); a permitted parking space (personal or public), a valid parking permit, or cover all parking fees incurred while cleaning your home. If a parking spot cannot be found within a 1 block radius by the specialist nor provided by the customer within a 15 minute window, your appointment will be cancelled/and or rescheduled. In the event that this occurs you will be charged a cancellation fee of your full cleaning rate.

Cleaning Specialists
We generally send out 1 specialist to your home/business. However for larger cleanings or special requests, we do send out a team of 2 or 3. If you are a recurring customer, we make every attempt to keep a cleaning team assigned to your home. There are times where a specialist might be on vacation or out sick and we send a different specialist or team to clean your home/business. Also, when we are introducing a potential new cleaner to our team, they may come to your home/business to shadow your regular cleaner.

Recurring Appointments
We make every attempt to keep your scheduled cleaning time consistent for every appointment. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, there may be instances where your appointment day/time may need to be adjusted. In the event that this must occur, we will be sure to keep communication open with you so you can be prepared for your cleaning.

Products
Cleaning Maid Beautiful will use its own products and supplies. Should the client require the use of special or hypoallergenic products, Client must notify Cleaning Maid Beautiful before cleaning begins. Client may provide the product. If you request your supplies or equipment, including vacuum cleaners, you agree not to hold Cleaning Maid Beautiful or any of its personnel responsible for damage to any article or component.

Allergies
Please contact the office if you or anyone living in your home may have any relevant sensitivity to substances that may well lead to an allergic reaction.

Pets
Cleaning Maid Beautiful team members are instructed not to enter a house if they believe an animal is a threat. In this case you would still be liable to pay the agreed upon cleaning fee. Please remember that pets may behave differently if a family member is not present. If your pet does not mind sharing their space with us, we will gladly work around them.

For health reasons we have instructed our staff to leave certain items and/or areas untouched; pet homes/beds, litter boxes, vomit, and/or fecal matter. Our teams are advised to clean around these areas. If your pet has an accident, it will be your responsibility to clean it up.

Biological Waste
Cleaning Maid Beautiful will not be responsible for the cleaning of any type of feces, blood, or other biological waste. Our cleaning specialists are instructed not to handle or clean areas contaminated with such materials for health and safety reasons. If any such situation arises, it is the client’s responsibility to address the cleaning of these substances before our cleaning specialists arrive.

The client agrees to promptly inform Cleaning Maid Beautiful of any presence of feces, blood, or other biological waste in the areas scheduled to be cleaned. In such cases, Cleaning Maid Beautiful reserves the right to refuse service until the client has appropriately addressed and cleaned the affected areas. The client understands that failure to notify Cleaning Maid Beautiful of the presence of such materials may result in cancellation of the appointment and applicable cancellation fees.

Pests
Cleaning Maid Beautiful prioritizes the health and safety of both our clients and our cleaning specialists. Therefore, we do not handle or clean areas contaminated with pests, bugs, or other infestations. It is crucial for the client to address these issues before our cleaning specialists arrive.

We kindly request that clients promptly inform Cleaning Maid Beautiful of any presence of pests, bugs, or other infestations in the areas scheduled for cleaning. If such situations arise, we reserve the right to refuse service until the client has appropriately addressed and cleaned the affected areas.

Understanding the importance of timely communication, clients should be aware that failure to notify Cleaning Maid Beautiful of the presence of pests, bugs, or other infestations may lead to cancellation of the appointment and applicable cancellation fees.

Minor Children
The client must never leave their minor children at home alone with any member of Cleaning Maid Beautiful for liability’s sake.

In-Home Climate Control
In-home temperatures should be comfortable prior to the start of service. Under no circumstances will services be performed in an environment that isn’t physically comfortable for labor. This includes but is not limited to extreme heat or extreme cold. In the event that your appointment is cancelled due to uncomfortable temperatures within your home you will be charged a cancellation fee of your full cleaning rate.

Photographs
Our quality Inspections will include taking before and after photos of our cleaning specialists’ work. These pictures are used for training, proof of our work performance and promotion of our high quality standards. We may also use these photographs for promotional/marketing reasons. If you do not want pictures taken of work areas in your home please notify Cleaning Maid Beautiful.
*To ensure the best quality of work, understand that photos will be shared between employees and management when necessary.

Promotions/Giveaways
Cleaning Maid Beautiful runs multiple promotions and contests throughout the year where we often announce the winner publicly. If you would like your name to be undisclosed please advise the office.

Furniture and Ladder Safety Policy
To ensure the safety of our cleaning technicians and to protect client property, Cleaning Maid Beautiful has implemented the following guidelines:

  • Furniture Movement: Technicians are instructed only to move furniture items weighing 25 pounds or less. Larger furniture items cannot be moved during service, as this may risk injury or damage to property. If you would like cleaning behind or under heavy furniture, please ensure it is moved prior to the scheduled cleaning time
  • Ladder Use: For all cleaning tasks requiring elevation, technicians will use only the small two-step ladders provided by Cleaning Maid Beautiful. No other ladders or height-extending equipment will be used to minimize the risk of falls or accidents.

By adhering to these guidelines, we prioritize both the safety of our team and the quality of service we provide to our clients.

Accidents/Damage
Because of the nature of our business, our staff is required to touch virtually everything in your home. We are as careful as possible; however, if something does get damaged while cleaning your home and the technician notices, our staff is instructed to call our office at once and to leave a note advising you of the incident. The office will also follow up with a phone call or email to you to determine the best course of action. In the event an item is damaged or broken, we reserve the option of repair or replacement with an item of equal or lesser value. A dollar value of “one-of-a-kind” items destroyed must be demonstrated in order that a settlement may be determined. All damage must be reported within 24 hours of the cleaning service. Cleaning Maid Beautiful is fully bonded and insured.

This policy allows Cleaning Maid Beautiful to assess the damage and arrange for a repair/replacement in a timely manner. If the customer chooses to have the damaged item fixed or a new item replaced/installed by a professional, the customer must obtain at least two estimates to be reimbursed by Cleaning Maid Beautiful. The item must be fixed within 30 days of the damage occurring, and proof of payment must be provided to Cleaning Maid Beautiful in order to receive reimbursement. The customer understands and agrees to this policy and acknowledges that it is their responsibility to report any damage to the Service Provider within the specified time frame and to comply with these reimbursement requirements.

Weather
In severe weather, we may determine it is not safe to travel and/or carry equipment and supplies to your home and cancel that day’s service. When this occurs, we will try to reschedule. Please assist us with your understanding in rescheduling.

Holidays
To ensure that our employees may enjoy time with family, we do not provide service on the following days: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. If your service date falls on a holiday you can contact the office to arrange a reschedule, if the office does not hear from you regarding a reschedule, that service will be skipped. During those weeks our schedule is very full; you may wish to contact our office 6-8 weeks ahead of time to reschedule your cleaning.

Referrals
Clients will receive $25 off their next cleaning service for referring each new client (up to 4) to Cleaning Maid Beautiful. After 5 referrals, receive 10% off your recurring cleaning for the lifetime of your services. This discount becomes effective after the referred client’s first service and subsequent payment.

Hiring of Cleaning Maid Beautiful Staff
All of our employees have signed a non-compete agreement with Cleaning Maid Beautiful. They are prohibited from soliciting business from any client on his/her own behalf of any third party during their employment with Cleaning Maid Beautiful or for 2 years following termination of employment, without written approval from Cleaning Maid Beautiful and a possible placement fee of $1,000.00. You agree not to hire past or present employees of Cleaning Maid Beautiful for a period of not less than 2 years from the date the employee last worked for Cleaning Maid Beautiful. A great deal of time and resources are put into hiring our staff. In the event you feel you must hire an employee of Cleaning Maid Beautiful in spite of this agreement, then a $2500.00 placement fee is due immediately upon employment of the past/present employee, regardless of whether the employment is regular or on a contract basis.

Force Majeure
Cleaning Maid Beautiful and any of its employees or agents shall not be deemed to be in breach of this agreement for any delay or failure in performance caused by reasons out of its reasonable control, including acts of God or a public enemy; natural calamities; failure of a third party to perform; changes in the laws or regulations; actions of any civil, military or regulatory authority; power outage or other disruptions of communication methods or any other cause which would be out of the reasonable control of Cleaning Maid Beautiful.

Severance
In the event that one or more of the provisions of this agreement shall be found unenforceable, illegal or invalid, it shall not affect any other provisions of this agreement, and this agreement shall be construed as if the provision found to be unenforceable, illegal or invalid had never been contained in the agreement, or the unenforceable, illegal or invalid provision shall be construed, amended and/or reformed to be made enforceable, legal and valid.

Term
There is no term to this agreement and the client or Cleaning Maid Beautiful. You may cancel your service at any time. Cleaning Maid Beautiful also reserves the right to cancel your service at any time.

Acknowledgment
This document contains the entire agreement of the parties, and there are no other promises or conditions in any other agreement whether oral or written concerning the subject matter of this Agreement. This Agreement supersedes any prior written or oral agreements between the parties.
